Flat rocks collected on the beaches of Île d’Orléans (near Quebec City),earlier this fall, were turned into plates, by being solidly taken in urethane rubber coumpound. The plates were then printed on a Vandercook press with a lot of pressure which causes the rocks to crack gently with each print. Consequently, the first and the last of each series are quite different, as you can see on the animated gif shown here : http://creationsabricot.com/archives/2625
